Whatever your style of adventure, Genie lets you customize our trips to make them your own. They are integrated with our advanced route planner, campground finder, and when available in a future release, our reservation system. Why did we create AdventureGenie?
We are avid RVers and have planned countless trips from around the corner to across the country – and it’s complicated and frustrating every time. Having a dozen websites and apps open at once, from individual campground websites to mapping websites to area attraction searches and more. Some apps have adequate route planners but list only a few of the many campgrounds near a stop. Ratings for campgrounds are not trustworthy. None of the websites or apps help you build a trip in the way most RVers plan and think. AdventureGenie has created planning magic by building in natural language processing, artificial intelligence, and machine learning along with massive amounts of camping and mapping data so you, the RVer, can plan and customize your trips your way. And just in case you are out of new camping destinations and ideas, try our GenieTrips to some of the most interesting, popular, must-see sites in the U.S. Use our GenieTrips as we have planned them, with all the stops and sight-seeing; or add one into your own trip and customize it the way you want!
Why is AdventureGenie different?
We are building AdventureGenie around the way real RVers think and plan. But we are making it easier and more efficient! RVers sometimes like the adventure along the way, meandering on and off a route; other times it is all about getting to the destination to enjoy one long adventure, thoroughly exploring an area. Some of us like the ’middle of nowhere’ sites, while others of us like a place with all the amenities. When planning our camping adventures, we want all the planning tools in one place, not jumping among a dozen different websites to get our trip just right!

CEO | Scott Lengel
Scott's 35 years in the Tech Industry includes transformational leadership and executive roles in every computing paradigm shift from Mainframe to Client-Server to Internet to Cloud to Mobile. Scott has deep experience in product development and broad experience architecting, designing and implementing complex solutions for Fortune 50 companies in virtually every industry.
After more than a dozen years as a developer, architect and program manager with several ISVs in the New York Metro area, Scott joined Microsoft in 1995. Scott spent 23 years at Microsoft, where he held several senior roles, most recently as the CTO for a worldwide division with thousands of employees and billions in revenue.
Scott retired from Microsoft in 2017, when he and his wife Lisa began to focus on worldwide adventure travel to gain unique experiences and capture stunning images from the world around us. In 2019, Scott launched a successful photography business, Scott Lengel Photography.
As the pandemic transformed the shape of worldwide travel, Scott and Lisa pivoted towards exploring the beauty of America and officially joined the RV community, capturing their travels on the blog Lengels On The Road.
After a couple of years of experience in planning extended adventures in an RV, it became increasingly evident that there had to be a better way. That is indeed the mission of AdventureGenie.

David is a veteran CEO, board member and investor, and has helped build and nurture start-ups in several industries, including health care, transportation, and bedding. He currently chairs the Corporate Governance Committee and serves on the Audit Committee of International Seaways, one of the largest publicly traded oil and gas tanker companies.
A lawyer and MBA from the University of Chicago, David was a partner at the global law firm Arnold & Porter, a 20-year C-Suite Executive at Altria Group, Inc, then the largest consumer packaged goods company, and a leader in the food, tobacco, and beer industries. He has testified before the U.S. Congress, the European Commission and Parliament, the Israeli Knesset, and other governmental bodies over two dozen times and has appeared on ABC Nightline, the CBS Morning News, BBC Morning, and the PBS News Hour. He has spoken to audiences ranging from the Corporate Directors Forum to Harvard Business School and the National Press Club.
David and his wife Becky are the proud owners of a 36-foot Class A RV and have stayed at more than 3 dozen RV parks around the nation. AdventureGenie is the answer to the most vexing questions they encountered in RV trip planning: Why does it have to be so complex? Why do I need 20 websites open at once? Can't there be a one stop shop for RV lovers to plan the trip of their dreams? The answer is an emphatic 'YES': AdventureGenie.
